Bony landmarks
When drawing or modeling a human bust, there are a couple of bony landmarks to keep in mind. This illustration shows a color-coded skeleton and surface anatomy with the prominent bony landmarks in a corresponding color code. These include the sternum, clavicle, acromion of the scapula, and hyoid bone. The 1st and the 2nd pair of ribs are visible as well.
